Day 1: CUSCO – KM. 82 – HUAYLLABAMBA
Our guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cusco very early in the morning to head over the 82 KM, to begging the trek thought the Inca Trail to Machupicchu, after approximately three hours of trekking we’ll stop to have lunch. Then will continue our trek heading to our first camping site of Wayllabamba, in the way we’ll visit the archaeological complex of Llactapata. Overnight and lunch.

Day2: WAYLLABAMBA – WARMIWAÑUSACA – PACAYMAYO
After breakfast, we’ll start the hardest part of the trek, with a very up hill trek, fallowed by a three hours of trekking until reaching the first pass called Warmiwañusca (dead woman) at an altitude 4,200 meters m.s.l. approximately, here will not only enjoy the panoramic view of the incredible landscape but also have the satisfaction in reaching the top, after lunch will head down to Paucartambo to have dinner and camp.

Day3: PACAYMAYO – PHUYU PATAMARCA – WIÑANYHUAYNA
After breakfast we’ll start to head down hill until reaching the second pass, the most important one in the whole trek, at 3,800 meters m.s.l., were you’ll enjoy a guided visit to the archeological Runkuy Rakay and the citadel of the inca called Sayacmarca, then will continue our trek to Phuya Patamarka (town in the clouds) another important archaeological monument where we’ll have lunch.
After a short rest we’ll start trekking until reaching Wiñay Huayna( always young), to have a guided visit to the archaeological complex that is in a spectacular site. Dinner and overnight in the camp site.
Day 4: WIÑAYHUAYNA – MACHUPICCHU – CUSCO After breakfast, we’ll trek for one hour to the forest until reaching Inti Punku (The Sun Door), known as the entrance door to Machupicchu, from here one can have an impressive panoramic view of the citadel. Upon arriving to Machupicchu, we’ll have a guided tour to the citadel, visiting the main archaeological remains and monuments, just like the main square, the temple of the three windows, and the solar watch, the rooms of the Morteros, the temple of the Condor and the cemeteries.
We’ll have some free time to wonder around the citadel, then will meet again with the group and make the transportation to the town of aguas calientes to have lunch (not included). In the afternoon we’ll return to Cusco by train. Upon arriving to Cusco, transportation to the hotel of choice.
