Day 01: Cusco / San Pedro de Cachora:
Pick up from the hotel at 6:30 am to head over to Cachora, appreciating the towns of Izcuchaca, then will start to descend to the district of Limatambo, from here will visit the divers archaeological rest of Tarawasi, then will continue the trip right next to the shores of the river to cross the bridge of Cunyac of the river of Apurimac(between Cusco and Apurimac)
from here will observe the great canyon of the The Apurimac, one of the deepest in the world, it has an incredible beauty, we can also see at a great distance the Salkantay Glacier, to then arrive to the district of Curahuasi, beautiful valley and the first to produce anis in Peru, it has an impressive sent, all the plantations seem like they were painted by hand because the diversity of colors, we’ll continue until we reach Sawite here will visit the archeological remains, after all this will arrive to Cachora where will have dinner and set up camp.
Day 2: SAN PEDRO DE CACHORA / SANTA ROSA:
Breakfast at 7:00 will depart Cachora heading to Santa Rosa where we’ll observe about 40 minutes a beautiful and huge waterfall also seeing other small ones with the beautiful landscape that surrounds it, we’ll also observe the change in the weather, then will arrive to Chiquisca, place where will have lunch, by the afternoon will arrive to Uchuyhuerta in Santa Rosa, here we’ll have dinner and spend the night.
DAY 3: SANTA ROSA / CHOQUEQUIRAO:
After resting and having a delicious breakfast, we’ll start our trek descending to Choquequirao, here will appreciate the beautiful landscapes of the begging of the jungle with a diversity of flora and fauna that comes with the area, then we’ll descend to arrive to the archeological complex by the mid afternoon to also set up the camp, then will have lunch and a visit to the complex of Choquequirao.
DAY 4: CHOQUEQUIRAO / PLAYA ROSALINA: After having breakfast we’ll have the morning free to wonder around the complex, after lunch we’ll return to Santa Rosa, dinner and overnight at Rosalina beach.
DAY 5: PLAYA ROSALINA/SAN PEDRO DE CACHORA / CUSCO:
After breakfast, heading over to Cachora, descending until we reach the highest part of Huayhuacalle place where we’ll have lunch, continuing with our trek until we reach Cachora to head over to Curahuasi, descending to the hot springs of Connoq to enjoy a relaxing bath, after enjoying all of this we’ll start to return to Cusco arriving about 7:30 pm approximately.
